When you think of salad, do you imagine a ” chickpea salad”? If you think it’s weird, don’t! I promise it’s delicious and nutritious! Chick Peas ( also known as Garbanzo Beans) are not only deliciously versitile in how you can prep it, ┬ábut offer yummy goodness for your body! This salad is best served chilled on the side or even as a main dish, you can even add some meat or keep it vegetarian. Here’s my “Fresh Herb Chick Pea Salad” give it a go!



  • 2 15oz cans of Chick Peas or 2 lbs of fresh Chick Peas, steamed/ boiled
  • 1/4 cup roughly chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 1/4 cup roughly chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 tsp of Paprika
  • 1tsp of Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp of Salt
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 2 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil



  • Open and drain Chick Peas ( if you want directions on doing it with fresh Chick Peas send me a message)
  • Pour Chick Peas in bowl of choice
  • Rough chop your Herbs and cut Lime and combine with Chick Peas
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients, mix well
  • Keep chilled before serving
